SYNOPSIS
In 2023, amid the waves of golden sand and rose-hued rock of the Mojave Desert, on Kimberly Danek Pinkson’s 19th year of Vision Quest — and her dad, Dr. Tom Pinkson’s 49th year of leading quests — a message from the Earth ignites a journey of exploration into the hearts and minds of those who listen deeply to Nature’s wisdom and live, and lead, accordingly.
LISTEN follows Kimberly, together with nature guide and a fellow quester Andrew Smyth, as they venture out to answer the questions: Who is listening? What are they hearing? And how does that ripple out into the world? Join them and meet Indigenous knowledge keepers, biomimicry pioneers, designers, entrepreneurs, engineers, and mental health professionals who are turning to Nature’s timeless principles for solutions to our most pressing challenges.
Exploring landscapes both internal and external, LISTEN illustrates how reconnecting to Nature, as part of Nature, restores mental and emotional well-being; how rites of passage and experiences in deep connection with Nature, can bring healing, clarity, and guidance; and how innovators from college students to CEOs can listen and ultimately, remember that all the answers we need are already here. We just need to listen more.
