On this Global Day of Listening, people across the world will pause — as individuals and in groups — and listen to Nature’s 3.8-billion-year-old wisdom. In this way, we open our hearts, and shifts our minds, to re-member our belonging as part of an interconnected web of life; to hear the answers to the greatest challenges of our time.
WHY LISTEN? 3.8 billion Years of R&D
Nature has been perfecting systems and designs for 3.8 billion years. They work or you would not be reading this today. In this time of climate crisis, war, cultural fragmentation, widespread depression, and systems collapse, we can work with life, with the planet’s oldest and most reliable systems— and re-member how to thrive with Nature, with ourselves as part of Nature, with one another, and with the children of tomorrow.
