Kimberly Danek Pinkson

Nature has been designing solutions for 3.8 billion years. I help leaders unlock that intelligence.

Advisor · Producer · Strategist · Retreat Leader

As the founder of Naturewise Co. and Co-founder of High High Productions, I have spent three decades at the intersection of nature’s intelligence, creativity, and human leadership — helping visionaries, founders, and impact-driven organizations align what they stand for with how they show up in the world.

With a childhood informed by globally-minded parents and in close relationship with Indigenous wisdom keepers, I am a mission-driven filmmaker, producer, and entrepreneur whose work bridges storytelling, social impact, and business driven by Nature’s ancient wisdom principles.

I completed my first Indigenous Native American-inspired Vision Quest at just 13 years old, with my dad, Dr. Tom Pinkson, who has been leading these Quests, carrying instructions passed on to him since 1972. That initiation became a compass and methodology grounded in the belief that the most enduring strategies, stories, and organizations follow the wisdom of Nature, the original instructions.

Today, I work with a select group of leaders, founders, and filmmakers — in tech, entrepreneurship, Indigenous allyship, health and wellness, and the arts — who are ready to move beyond conventional strategy into something more alive. As a strategist, advisor, and producer, I help align story, growth, and leadership with Nature’s intelligence as the roadmap.

A Track Record Built on What Matters

Always inspired by my son, nephews, and children of the world, I founded EcoMom® in 2006 — one of the first companies to pioneer regenerative family culture at scale — and built the EcoMom Alliance, a network of 20,000+ key influencers and community organizers across North America, Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Latin America. All this before the social community building platforms of today, but out of pure passion, grit, creativity, and a belief that with the right people working together, anything is possible.

My brand and campaign work spans more than three decades and includes work with Nike, Seventh Generation, Walmart, Stonyfield Farms, Sierra Club, UNEP, and Mercedes-Benz.

As a subject matter expert, I have appeared on the cover of The New York Times, TODAY, 20/20, CNBC, and Bloomberg, among others. I have been a keynote speaker and panelist at the World Women’s Forum (Korea), Bioneers, and Natural Products Expos East and West, speaking on regenerative business, children in nature, and what it means to lead from a place of true alignment with the web of life.

I hold a degree in psychology and dance from UCLA and the University of Hawaiʻi. My years as a professional dancer and choreographer continue to inform my creative, embodied approach to leadership, strategy, impact, and legacy building. I am grateful to live in Santa Barbara, CA — close to family, friends, ocean, and mountains.
